Derrick is a lecturer in the College of Computing and Software Engineering at Kennesaw State University, a Faculty Fellow for Corporate Engagement, and Managing Director of the Center for Applied Computing.
Derrick is also a cybersecurity and AI governance advisor, co-founder of the Quantum Core Institute Inc., and an expert witness.
Derrick has over 35 years of experience, and his career includes senior roles at Takeda, PwC, Accenture, and Quantum Computing Inc. He has worked in the USA, Europe, and South Africa.
Derrick serves multiple industries as a fractional CISO and CRO and is a frequent professional speaker and author.
Derrick has a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
